My name is Marilyn Anderson. During my search for natural and safe skin care products I began to study aromatherapy which led me to producing my own range under the scentred label.
During 1998 my first few bottles of lotions and potions were produced with great pride for myself and family. In 2000 a friend and I made our first batch of natural pure vegetable soap. We were so excited we had difficulty not to use it before it had finished the four week curing period; the wait was well worth it as we lathered up beautiful rich moisturising bubbles with their delightfully satisfying natural scents from the pure essential oils used.
With a desire to continually extend and improve my range, scentred is growing and becoming more of a family business as helpers are frequently called in to assist with extra, manufacturing wrapping and labelling.
All scentred products are made in New Zealand, they are naturally nourishing and of high quality using natural ingredients and organic where possible.
To preserve their freshness we handcraft in small batches.

- soaps are pure vegetable and colour free, made by the cold process method which produces a rich, moisturising, and luxurious soap retaining the natural glycerine and emollient properties, unlike other soaps that have had the glycerine removed and sold as a by-product.
We have used locally grown, ground organic Lavender flowers in our
exfoliating Lavender Scrub Soap and locally grown organic Calendula petals
in our unscented natural Baby Soap.

using natural ingredients and organic where possible. We use Organic Beeswax
& Organic Jojoba oil in all of our Lip Balm & Foot Balm recipes and Organic Aloe vera in all our gels and lotions.
